🏃♂️ Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2025 – Half Marathon #2 in the Books!
This past Sunday, we laced up again for our second 21.1KM half marathon as part of the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, and we’re proud to say... we crushed it! 🥳
⏱️ Finished in 2:04 ! This was 9 minutes faster than last year’s time of 2:13!
(At this rate, we’ll break the sound barrier by 2030 😉)
Our only competition is ourself
This year was extra meaningful. I ran alongside my amazing friends Dragan and Nikola, with Anton cheering us on in spirit, and had my number one supporter, my wife Bianca, along the route making noise like the champion cheerleader she is! 🙌 My family also came out to the course, and that support means more than I can say.
We ran in honor of Terry Fox, wearing his legacy proudly across my shirt and heart , a powerful reminder of why we run and who we run for. If you’d like to support the cause, check out the official Terry Fox Foundation shirts . 100% of proceeds go to cancer research.
We read a book called Hope about Terry this year and we wanted to really continue supporting his powerful movement he started so long ago.

It was tough, inspiring, sweaty, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable. From the energy of 37,000+ runners to the thousands cheering from the sidelines, this city showed up with heart. 💚
Running 21.1KM takes training, grit, and a touch of madness... but it also proves what’s possible when you keep showing up ; for your health, your dreams, and each other.
So if you’ve ever thought, “I could never do that”... trust me, you can. Start where you are. Move, groove, and keep pushing. You’ll be amazed by what you can accomplish
🏁 Here's to growth, gratitude, and doing hard things.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who cheered us on. We felt every step of your support!
Stay awesome, stay active , and see you at the starting line next year.
